Let’s be honest, if we won the lottery or found a pot of gold at the bottom of the garden, would we really wear clothes from discount super stores. Of course not, we’d go for the designer stuff every time. So why don’t we wear it anyway, why aren’t our wardrobes stuffed with designer gear? It’s so much better made, the fabrics are better, the styles are more stylish and fit so much more snugly!  Hmmm, yes but have you seen the price of that stuff?

Now then, you’re not telling me that they’re still not making a profit.  The huge mark up on all designer fashion goes to explain why they can then offer them at such huge discounts at the end of the season. But why wait, why not try to find designer fashion at discount prices all year round.

If you do a Google search for, say “Discount Designer Dresses” you’ll get almost 70,000,000 results, so that’s not a bad place to start is it? With 70,000,000 to choose from (OK, I know plenty of them won’t be any good to you) but just think of how much choice you will have.  Online shopping, however, especially online fashion shopping does have its drawbacks – you can’t try anything on before you buy it for starters.  What happens if it doesn’t fit properly, or it just doesn’t suit you when it’s finally delivered? What then? All you have to do is to check out a couple of details before you place an order:

• Returns policy – check out what their policy is – how long you have to return the item, who pays for shipping etc. Will you be issued with a refund of your money or a store credit?  Make sure that you’re happy with their returns policy before you place your order.
• Trying on – if you’ve already found something which you love in a designer store, why not try it on, see which style/color/size fits you the best, and then go home and try to find it online.  I know it’s not very nice for the store but hey, this is business!

You might be very surprised at the discounts which are available on designer fashion, after all, the higher the price the further it can be reduced. Go on, have a go, don’t put up with inferior fashion, wear the best at discount prices.
